Uh, would anyone happen to know why when I startup the Gimp from Fluxbox, it boots up the older, GTK1 version? But yet when I start it from GNOME 2, it boots up the GTK2 version... I can''t even seem to find a different executable, so I have no idea what''s going on.

My guess is that its loading the same version, but when you load it up in gnome, the theme applies, and in flux it doesn''t.

Are you just basing this off of the fact that it looks ugly?

Uh, no. When I start it up in Flux, it specifically has the "GIMP 1.2" splash screen. In GNOME, it has the "GIMP 1.3 Beta" (or whatever it is) splash screen, and uses GTK2. O_o
