really freaky thing...............

ok, for some reason, in my game, when I lower the elevation of one of the tiles'' corners, it starts drawing a weird triangle thing that aligns to my screen''s bottom and right sides....it looks really weird, anyone else have this happen to them?
why not post a screen shot

Are you drawing a quad? if you are drawing a quad and you lower one of the corners then it will no longer be aligned along a single normal, i.e. if you calculate every normal on it they won't all be the same. This is one of the risks you take when using quads. My advice would be to using triangles, although that would give you a bend point and wouldn't look good, otherwise you use some sort of high-order rendering, nurbs would work great

Edit: Of course if you're not drawing a quad then you can just ignore me :E

aah, yes, it was because of the quads, thanks RamboBones, i changed it to a triangle strip and now it works better
