Do you guys know most of the syntax in openGL and such by heart? I was just wondering because I realize that I just started learning this stuff, but sometimes I find myself looking back to an earlier tutorial to remember certain syntax to do certain things, is this bad?
You''ll learn what you need by doing it repeatedly. There''s nothing wrong with looking back at things you haven''t used a lot. If you use it often; you''ll remember it.

In this day and age the ability to know where and how to look something up is worth a lot more than trying to learn everything by heart. I don''t think any programmer (or researcher in any scientific field for that matter) doesn''t have to look up something every now and then.

thanx guys
Do you know what a PDR is? PDR stands for Physician''s Desk Reference. You know why? Because it''s mentally implausible for a doctor to memorize and categorize every symptom with every ailment by heart, especially when they''re all the same
This post will self-destruct in 5 seconds...Actually, it's just Benjamin Bunny doing his thing.
