I think that the reality engine has a realy big problem, it´s too real!... oh!, and, yesterday a found a bug, the "deja vu bug"... I think nobody knows how to fix it.

The A.I. in the reality engine is horrible... so many stupid people, you''d think they''d have figured out how to get these morons to stop reproducing already .
Anyways, I have seen the Doom3 pre-release alpha, and it suxors... runs slow (athlon xp 2000 + gf4 ti 4600, 512mb ddr), looks alright, but nothing spectacular. I will hold final judgement until the final release though, as pre-release alpha''s aren''t final, I''m sure they will boost the speed, and get much better artwork before it is released, so it will look better when it''s done.

Best 3D engine?
I haven't seen Doom's new engine, the UnrealII engine is the only point of reference here. It's good for what it was intended.
As for which of the two is better, that will depend on what Doom's creators come up with. It's hard to compare an existing engine with one that isn't released yet.

I don´t know much but Unreal II looks better because... Well! my computer was unable to run the doom3, jeje
