Well yea, hence the "quotes" around ''cheating''. I say use it if you want to; I just don''t like it when people show off their new RPG Maker-esque game like they programmed the whole thing. Maybe I''m just jealous
In any case, to goldchoco, this might be the best thing to go with right now. It''s not really practical to do graphics for awhile if you can only make "suck-ass text games in DOS " so RPG Maker might be worth a look if you want to concentrate on the design part. Do a search on RPG Maker on Google. I dunno if it''s legal (is RPG Maker freeware or what? I have no idea), but I downloaded a version a long time ago.
