I also have a voodoo2, and have the same problem as you have described. The solution is that you have to specify in software for the voodoo2 card to be used. This involves downloading the glide SDK at http://www.3dfx.com

Then you can visit http://www.voodooextreme.com/glide3tutorial/ for some simple tutorials on how to open and close a window for your 3dfx card. You will probably also need to visit http://www.glsetup.com to get the latest drivers for the voodoo2 card.

I haven''t tried this yet because I''ve been so busy with school, but I think this is the way to go to solve your problem.
