Does anyone know how Q3 handles collision detection with bezier patches? I got my brush based collision detection working but how does it work with bezier patches (like the giant tongue on q3dm1? )

There''s ways to get the closest point on a bezier curve... maybe since a patch is defined by four curves, q3 just gets the closest point on two adjacent curves and compares the player to the height at the point that the two closest points collide at
