Ok, this is probably the most trivial question here in a long time... But anyways, I know C and a small amount of basic C++. I want to be able to make websites, but I''m not too crazy about learning HTML and &#106avascripting, or flash or whatnot. Since C# can be used to make web applications (whatever the heck they are), could you make whole websites using C#? Would it be worth it learning C# just enough so you could make simple websites?
just use dreamweaver and you dont really have to know much (if any) html

It costs 399$ and I''m such a cheapstake that I wouldn''t buy it if it cost me 20$. My next alternative to C# is a free html tool and some free tutorials..
http://www.w3schools.com

Good luck

Hello,

If you want to create web applications in C#, then look into Microsofts free ASP.NET Web Matrix which is great. If you just want to chew html then use Ultraedit, a great(free) html(asp, vb, c++, c# etc. etc.) building tool.

Ultraedit: www.ultraedit.com
Web Matrix: www.asp.net

The you can learn html at: www.htmlhelp.com

Hope it helps.
