I just got Visual C++ 6.0 and Learn Visual C++ in 21 days. I was just wondering if these resources were any good for beginners. thanks for your advice.

I bought Sams Learn Visual C++ in 21 days and found it to be a very informative book. It teaches you almost all the different techniques used and C++ as well as a good coding style. Good luck learning C++!

MSVC6 should sort you out as far as programming tools are concerned, too. It''s [one of] the best available dev tools for Windows.
