Let''s say that I make some nice graphics but the edges aren''t anti-aliased and it looks like crap, how can I anti-alias a shape? Thanks.
try the blur tool.

I''ve tried it and it just makes it look blurred, not anti-aliased. Thanks though.
Try this:

Select the area you want antialiased with a selection tool (magic wand,...). Then right click and select convert to path. Experiment with the settings. Now that you have a path you can easily stroke it, fill it or whatever and it will have a nice AA edge.

Another idea: Make a selection (as before), contract the selection for 1-2 pixels. Feather it for 1-2 pixels. Select inverse and press delete. If you are using a layer you will get a nice smooth edge, but you lose those 1-2 pixels around the selection.

Try which one works best.

I seem to remember that loading a path from a selection tends to lose some of the selection''s quality (it''s not as smooth), but I''ll try the second one when I get home.
Well you could try this tutorial.

That''s perfect, thanks.
no prob, glad to help
u use the pen took to create a selection inside the shape (just a little inside the border) then u invert the selection and press delete... presto, assuming the anti-alias was enabled in the selection, u now have a perfect shape...
Maaaaaaaahahaha. Who''s da king baby?
