Thanks Danneman. I will finish off my the rpg game book first (estimate 2 weeks if possible and write my own rpg game in 1 week) and move on to the multiplayer book. Thanks for the comments. If i am stuck with the book, can you help me on that. The English and terms used in the book are quite advanced. Esp on the first chapter, as he talks about some treasure hunt thing. Can''t really get what he meant. Too in depth english. :D
Not showing off here, just want to make myself improve. Haha..i believe my first game is the worst game ever created by human. Haha.
Thanks everyone.
:D

What irritates the h**l out of me with the Game Dev series from Prima, is that they never release a complete table of content anywhere (not amazon, not on publishers website, ...) for you to browse before deciding to buy the book.
Had I been able to look through the detailed table of content of the books, Im sure I would have bought more than the two I got now. As it is now, I hesitate, and usually decide not to buy these books, just because I dont know exactly what is in them (the titles are usually surprisingly missleading for many computer-books).
Bottom line - they are loosing business with this "but-the-pig-in-the-sack"-approach to sales.

------------------------Why of course the people don’t want war. ... That is understood. But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ...Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country. Danneman, do you have the multiplayer game programming e-book? Like this i can save up money on buying that. Haha.
Sounds like a crack e-book to me. :D

"Yup, prima books always repeat the same old story telling. Sometimes i feel it is bored to read the contents of book 1 similar to book 2."

I simply like his book !
I found it good to follow, except the chapter about Octrees - but i'll get it one day (though the chapter is good).
A table of contents can be found at the author's homepage ( http://home.att.net/~rpgbook).
Good Luck,
Letho

Thanks for the link, Letho
Yep, usually the authors are tip-top in their info about their books on their websites. Would it be too much trouble for Prima to link each book to the authors booksite?
What are you on about, Chua? I got the real deal, here, ink on paper Hate reading online-books, so atleast thats one thing I pay for
