Depending on what you are trying to do, POSER is an excellent tool. A friend of mine is using it for demonstrations of proper movement for atheletes.

Yhea, poser is good if you don''t want to model the whole athlete, because poser has a good libraries of pre-done model...well poser 4 does. But this program is hard to $$get$$ but if you just want to use it for fun it''s ok.
