What''s that meaning?

by the way, most of PS2 game are written by C and ASM and without C++,isn''t it?
nobody can answer me?
Why not?

on issue of PS2, not too sure... but i''ve used a Yaroze (amateur PS devkit) and the SDK is provided with full C-only library and compiler. I dun see y C++ cant be handled by any future console.

Usually the age old battle of C vs C++ is generally concerning speed and size but that alone has started enuf flame wars b4 to be worth starting now. But in reality, compilers have come a long way that either is a fine choice and is up to the coder to choose based on his/her preference.

back to ur question on linux and consoles... C++ has a viable future coz deep inside, C++ is just C with steroids.
