Hello and merry christmas! Does anydody remember a game where the main goal was to shoot balloons?. 1 or 2 could play at the same time and each player controlled a character at the bottom on the screen. Each character would shoot a rope(If I remember correctly) in the air at the balloons. Each level was over when all the ballonns were shot. Originally I thougt this game was called pong..something, but I can´t seem to find any demo or screenshot, hell!! I can´t even remember his name. Anyone here who can give me the name of this game? With regards.

Wasn''t it Bubble Bobble / Rainbow Islands?
No not that game either. In bubble bobble you shot bubbles but I am asking for a game that you(the character) shoots at balloons.

Maybe I didn´t explain the game well enough. Let me try again.

This game was in arcades and looked liked Bubble Bobble, but had another goals. You could jump, catch better weapons to shoot the ballonns. When they were whot they split into smaller balloons until they disappeared.

Another thing, the characters shoot straight up (vertical) in the air and the rope got stuck in the air and disappeared after a few seconds. Ballouns bounced around the level and if the character touched the baloon he died and lost a live (insert more coins please )

On some levels there were ladders you could go up. If I remember right I think it was 2-player MAX game.

Please don´t think I didn´t try to find this game, I´ve been looking for it the past days with no luck

Anyone else?

There was a game called Pang which looked like the one you described. Perhaps that one skrekel said is a clone.
