hi, i just wonder how can i load a texture that is''n a square with size power of 2? thanks sid
Textures don''t have to be square but they do have to have sides of power of 2. If you really want odd shaped textures then either scale them (up or down) or pad them with black (or some other colour/transparency) to the pow2 boundaries.

There''s a "tutorial" at http://romka.demonews.com/opengl/demos/texture_eng.htm. Look for the non-standard texture reader.

Hope this helps,
