I'm working on a 3D Model Editor.
Please, give it a try.
It includes a readme file for instructions.
load/save .bsm
add/move vertices
add/move faces(triangles)
pan/rotate/zoom
culling
wireframe or colored triangles
just added Subdivide 3 and 4.
Please report any bugs.

im interesting in source code for selecting and moving points (vertices)

It runs redicuously slow for me, I can''t do anything with it. It takes about 3 seconds just for me to click a button. I''m running a gf3 ti 200 w/ 1200 mhz tbird.

I use a geforce 256 and 800mhz T-Bird.
Maybe, settings and/or drivers.
(just got a GF4Ti4200).

The Grid will be easy. I could use ideas, cause I can do with the simple stuff. Maybe, a few things from Milkshape?
I plan a bone skeleton animation and texture editing support(but I need code for saving images).

use DevIL ( formerly OpenIL ) it supports most popular image formats, both loading and saving.

if you use Dev-C++ you migth have a problem using it, but I have a fixed version (but sligthly older) avalible on my website.
