So, I feel very comfortable programming in C++, I''ve done some stuff with DirectX but don''t feel comfortable AT ALL with it. I was doing some stuff with it yesterday and just gave up trying to learn it by myself and plan to use a book or tutorials online. Can you guys recommend some tutorials or books that you found GREAT? Yesterday, I went out and bought a couple and went through them at like 2 o''clock in the mourning, but they didn''t get me anywhere. I got 3D Game Programming by John de Goes, and Beginning Direct3D Game Programming by Wolfgang Engel. Both of them didn''t get me anywhere. 3D Game Programming has some nice resources in it. Hmmmm, that sucks. I just looked at the Articles and Resources and both were given pretty bad. Ah well, I''m sure to get some books for Christmas hopefully. You guys probably went through the same thing I am going through, the jump to DirectX. In your experience, what do you think helped you the most? The one book that really helped you in the jump? - Rob Loach OverTech Technologies ---------- "I don''t know half of you half as well as I should like; And I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." - Bilbo Baggins
