Hi, Is this app worth anything to a gaming artist? I am a programmer so art is not my thing. Why are there tutorials on Photoshop? To edit scanned drawings maybe? Any inpuit would be great since my girlfriend owns Illustrator and Photoshop. She is almost as cluesless as me in how I could use them. Joe

Photoshop is for photorealistic stuff whereas Illustrator is more for, well, illustrations. Therefore Photoshop is generally more relevant for game development when it comes to textures and so on. Although which you personally will find more useful depends totally on what you want to do, as the job of a ''gaming artist'' is potentially diverse.

Thanks. I have been learning Illustrator and am ok at it. I will look at Photoshop after and see what I can make of it. But it sounds like it is worth knowing.
