I took a look at some of the books reviewed in the resources section... They didn''t seem to provide what I''m looking for. I want something that teaches me the basics, then moves up to using the windows API, then opengl. Windows programming for dummies seemed like it might have done this, but it''s direct x. Plus I could''t really find any detailed info on whats inbetween the covers. I relize I could buy 3 books to do this, but the money adds up quick, any recomendations? ---

I''ve found a great beginers C++ book, resonably priced, does the gamedev.net OpenGL book cover the WinAPI, or do you think it would be better just to read online tuts?
