Hi ! sorry for my poor english but i just want to know how would be the perfect God-game according to you (like populous, black & white...) ?

I always thought, maybe for a screen saver, that if you had a game where you could observe the people in the world or different environments like a store or something and could interact with them. I don''t mean like the Sims, the people would be totally self-sufficent and would go about their own business without your interaction and be just fine, but you could either help them out or make life miserable for them. Sort of like Black and White, but with no creature. There isn''t much depth to it, really, but if you could get the interactions right it would be cool. Like I said, maybe a screensaver or timekiller or something. But that''s just me.

yeah, it could be funny... but that would be in a game so the player should interact with the world and people... first, i think the maps would be spherical (like populous 3), no "plane map" like in Age of Empire... and every villagers would have a specific AI...
but maybe someone could give us a new way of "thinking a god game"...

I just think many of those god games are not "true" ones. Populous: The Beginning for example had the shaman that you were in person, which I don''t consider is a god. Neither Black and White was a true god game because of that damned creature you had.

What I''d really like to see from a god game would be a game with the scale of a single town for instance. Then the goal of that game would be to make all villagers believe in you. Of course there would be opposing gods to stop you and to achieve the same goal...
