Yeah hi, I was wondering if there is an realitively easy way to put in MP3s for use in games. What I was thinking of is something like in The Sims where you could put your MP3s in a folder, and then the radio would play them. Does anyone know how to do this?

Sorry, I can find only something about a MP1-decoder in the msdev help. But I don''t think you should use MP3s in your game because decoding takes much cpu time, but computers are also getting faster. I think at WOTSIT you can find the mp3 file format if you need it to write your own mp3 decoder.

For good quality MP3 playback in your game, take a look at the fmod sound system.
It is free for non-commercial purposes, and very easy to use.
