I hope this doenst seem like a stupid question, but I wrote a program that has a FPS counter and uses NeHe''s basecode. It always runs no more than 60 FPS on Windows XP. When I had Windows 98 on my PC, the same exact program ran over 105 FPS. Anybody know whats going on? btw: Its Win XP Pro
What kind of video card are you running? If its a Nvidia based card, Win XP limits your refresh rate to 60, which is probably why your limited to 60 fps. Hope this helps.

AHHH... I have a GF4 MX 440... The other card that I tried it on was a TNT2 16MB card... thanks a lot
Start -> Control Panel -> Appearance and Themes -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> (Your card name) -> Additional Properties -> OpenGL Settings. Change the Vertical sync option to Always off.
