trueSpace 3 question
I''ve been trying to throw together some models for an isometric view game, and I can''t seem to get the trueSpace camera to look at my objects at the right angle. I try manipulating the X Y Z positions and rotations but it just seems non-intuitive. What can I do?
what do you mean by "seems unintuitive" ?
it''s been a while since I used TS 3, but it shouldn''t be a problem so set
the camera to a specific posotion/angle, I think you can enter numbers
to get the exact coordinates.

true space doesn''t have isometric views. if you have access to 3d studio max, you can get an isometric perspective by right clicking the viewport name (e.g. perspective) and selecting "user". that will give you an isometric view.
and generally, you don''t need an isometric view to render objects for an isometric game, unless you''re rendering a huge object. that''s when the disappearing point becomes apparent. btw, true space is one of the most intuitive and easy to learn 3d packages around

Solution, and this works for any 3D program. Render it with an orthogonal view (with the standard isometric camera angles), I don''t remember if TS can do this, but that''s how do to true isometric.
