I am currently looking for either a low cost commercial or a free commercailly distributable indoor/outdoor game engine. Approximately 80-90% of the game will be outdoors, with a few visits indoor. The engines I am currently looking at are PowerRender and VisKit. I have onced over Genesis3D and the spin off, but the game still is too focussed on doing the next Quake. Another question is, is VisKit dead? I''ve been trying the site for about 2 days and I get a 500 error (DNS lookup failure). I''d hate for a development lib to be taken off the consideration list due to KIA.
