The search doesn''t seem to be working at the moment...appologies if this is a regular question. I''m new to Open GL and thanks to NeHe''s tutorials I''ve managed to get on my feet with a small world which I''ve now extended to load in multiple textures and detect collisions. I''m now experimenting with Vertex arrays and display lists to try and get some better performance on lesser machines. Does anyone know of a good way of benchmarking the performance of your game so you know what kind of effect implementing display ists etc. has done? Many Thanks Richard
Well, you can

1. Use a profiler when compiling

2. Use a frames-per-second counter
