Chess Game
I am currently doing a chess game but i would like to get some info about the struct of the game if anyone knows any good site with info about the game i will be thankfull.
Errr.... You don''t know the rules of chess? It''s pretty simple.
Put the pieces on the board in the right order, each player gets to move a piece in turn, and each piece can only be moved according to a strict and simple set of rules.
I advice you to go to gamedev, and search for "chess"...

Also, if you don't know the rules of chess, and such why don't you check out yahoo games and play a couple games of online chess to get a feel for the game.

actualy this thread was to help a friend of mine that wants to do the game and we was asking about how to represent de table, moves etc... but thanks pll
you shoulda said that earlier, if you don''t know yet, you can easily use a multidimensional array to store basic data for the chess board like if you were doing a board that was just text you could use a two dimensional 8 by 8 array, I used that in a console chess program I was working on all I have left is the AI for it which won''t come until I get better at programming. I guess if you want the source I have for the board (keep in mind it is just conole based no graphics...very cheap) just email me at n0sp1n3@hotmail.com
