Game: Tales Of Two Kingdom Theme Music "Friendship Never End" Please help us decide which version to put in our game. Vote between classical or Synthesized http://www.bamboostix.netfirms.com/popularity_polls.htm -Teng Chea
The synth version made me think of an old Amiga game called Superfrog. I''m not sure I''d be able to seriously immerse myself in a strategy game set in ancient Asia if I kept seeing Superfrog jumping around and gathering coins inside my head

Tales of Two Kingdom is not in ancient asia.

our story is a bit difficult to explain in a forum.

OH sorry, I thought it was a Romance of the Three Kingdoms type game.

both are ill, but I prefer the synthesizer version

i have to admit that i dont particularly like either - the classical is lacking in dynamics, especially, and the synthesizer version makes me think of old klick-and-play games consisting of a wizard running around a bad 2d backdrop.

so i would say the piano version... but it would be nice to know the basis of the game - the website didnt tell me a whole lot... i assumed it was strategy based on military.

They both sound a little on teh stale side as mentioned above in the dynamics, perhaps a bit more fiddling with the volumes.

The piano would be nice if you sustained it a bit more, or added reverb.

I hate to sound harsh - but they''re both midis. Neither of them sound very good - and I''ve got it being pumped through a Korg Triton. The tune itself may be quite cool, but it''s marred by the crappiness of general midi. Fix it.

Also - add an S on the end of "End" in the title.

i agree with both the above users. the piano version is infinitely better (but not particularly good).

perhaps a REAL piano? that would allow any decent player to add some kind of ''feel'' (not stale...) including dynamics. you could then easily add some reverb and the song would sound somewhat impressive to your player.
