Hello. I am running Windows XP with the refresh rate fix. When I run any of nehe''s tutorials in full screen, my refresh rate drops to 60 vertical, and like 30-40 horizontal (depending on the resolution i pass CreateGLWindow). Runs fine in window mode along with rest of the desktop. I have done the refresh rate fix, and my monitor refreshes fine in all the games i have tested it with. Anyone know how to fix? Do you use nVidia cards? mine is TNT2. It will cause that problem in all versions of windows, but different drivers (at least to me ).
This might not be the best way to live with it, but it''s the way i solved it.
For ex... solve it in 640x480x16
1) Change your desktop resolution to 640x480 in 16 bit mode.
2) You''ll notice that it''ll show at 60hz.
3) In Display Properties -> Advance -> Moniter... Change the screen refresh rate.
