NEWBIE TO C++
Pick up a book covering c/c++ ansi standard, skim through it and find a site with tutorials and start coding like mad, if you have money get a decent compiler like borland or vc++. The whole key to learning C++ is to code, make mistakes, code some more and learn new functions/API's

If none of this seems to fit your taste, try reading the post I posted about the newbie team that we are starting. I think that AlphaProgdess, Instinctz, and I, might be joining into one big team. This is a very smart choice if you are looking for an assisted way of going about this.
