Hey all, First let me tell you that this is not about programming in anyway, it is about my compiler. Next let me please appologize if this is an inappropriate topic for this forum. Now my problem: I have been using MSVC++ 6.0 for quite a while now (a year and a half or so) and I am having this reacurring problem. Every so often, it''s as if MSVC++ switches my keyboard setting from US to French or French-Canadian. This only happens in msvc, and when i open up notepad or another text editor when this happens, all the letters and symbols show up fine. Also, the only key''s that get screwed up are symbols like /, ", {, &, *, }, etc. The only solution that I have been able to come up with is to save my project, and restart msvc++. I''ve tried searching around to see if there is some sort of keyboard setting in it, but I haven''t noticed that pressing a certain key-pattern, like CTRL+SHIFT+T or something changes anything. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem in the past or if anyone has any solutions to it. thanks in advance, Fuzztrek ¬_¬
I had this problem with MSVC5. I''d recommend removing your keyboard driver, restarting, and installing it again, making sure you use US. Standard, as opposed to Canadian. Worked for me...
