Rotating

I am making collision detection for my car game and I need to rotate the test points that I send to the collision detection script as the car turns. Ive been looking everywhere for an equation to rotate points and have been trying myself but I couldn''t find it. Does anyone know the equation used by glRotatef, for example, that rotates an object.
C''mon it''s not hard to find infos on this on Google.

A simple "3D + rotation + math" did the trick for me.
