I updated my old "3dfx Voodoo 3000" to "Abit Siluro GF4 MX 440". Most games etz work fine and much faster than they did on my old Voodoo card, but some OpenGL programs that I have made run very very slowly: about 20-40 fps (they did run about 60 fps with my old Voodoo 3000). Have enyone else had this problem? Any solutions?

Yes. Version 30.82.
I also tried with the latest drivers from Abit, but there was no difference.

I seem to remember nehe having problems when moving from a voodoo3 to a geforce because the voodoo was a lot easier on mistakes... I think his case was he was using un-mipmapped textures with their filtering mode set to linear_mipmap_linear, which the voodoo corrected, but the geforce didn''t and screwed things up a lot... I''m not saying this is the problem, but it may be something similar..

30.xx ARENT the lastest drivers. 40.xx are out now, have been for around a week.

The mx versions of gforce cards are not bad at all. To this day, Im still using a gforce 2 mx 32 meg cause Im a broke college student, but it runs everything fine even the newest stuff.
