Is there a better way of making my finished UV map into an image than ''Copy to clipboard/Paste into Paint program''? I know I could use an external program like UV Mapper, but I''ve had probems with that... A good tutorial would probably help Thankful for any help.
You can export the UV out as an EPS file in Modeler.
Go File > Export > Export Encapsulated Postscript

When the export window pops up, select Texture UV for the View.

You should be able to open the file in Photoshop or some other paint programs.

I think there''s a free plug-in for LW that allows you to export your UV into an image file but I can''t seem to find it at the moment.

Personally, I just do the copy/paste thing.

Thanks for your post.

Do you know the name of that plugin, maybe I or someone else can find it...

Well the Copy/Paste method works, but I''m not sure the UV image created is entirly correct in size. I should probably be fine for game development.
I''ve made some nice models, maybe I''ll show some later on.

Btw, anyone got some hints in creating spaceship textures?
I think this is the plugin (haven''t used it though):

Space ship textures?
For simple ones, try looking for those space ship panel textures and play around with them.

You can get some from here, but they aren''t very good quality:

I''ve looked at the textures, and as you said, they''re pretty low quality, but perhaps I can use some of them. I''m just looking for simple panel textures, and maybe metals.

Still looking for tutorials on UV mapping... Thankful for any help!
