Ok; first i would check out the beginners topics here on this site. Then i would get a programming book so that you can learn the language. After you have a solid understanding of the language then i would go on with the tetris game I personally like Beginning Visual C++ 6.0 written by Ivor Horton as a starting point then The Complete C++ Reference by Shildt as a reference.
