Qauternion Translation
Does anyone know how to do or direct me to a site about quaternion translation? I am some what new to quaternions. I have my scaling and rotation calculations done, but I am haveing trouble doing translations for quaternions.

According to a book about quaternion rotations that I have, there is no known way to use quaternions for translations. Sorry, but you''ll have to use separate variables or matrices for translation.

Quaternians are for Rotation, basically, quaternians follow the formula
QpQ-1
where Q is the Quaternian
p is the point your are rotating
Q-1 is the inverse Quaternian...
OpenGL isn''t really set up for Quaternian rotations, so usually people who use them either do the rotation in software before rendering it, or translate the quaternian to an axis angle matrix...

dede, if you use a quaternion, you normally don''t send the matrix, but use it directly for glRotatef..
