I totally disagree. Collision detection, physics, multiplayer code, menus, and tweaking the movement took up took up easily 90% of the coding time for my 4e3 entry. To put this in perspective, the non-interactive intro took me an hour.
There are just so many more things you have to consider when writing an interactive entry, and it''s so much easier to make a non-interactive entry look nice when you can position the camera exactly where you want it all the time.
