Artwork Website
Does anybody know where I can get some royalty-free art for my game? It''s an online medieval RPG and I need 32x32 tiles and sprites.
The graphics I''m using now were drawn in MS Paint and look pathetic! :-)
Thanks

MS paint!? owch....I tried using that, and after ten seconds i quit cuz it sucked. I would suggest getting a copy adobe photoshop and/or paintshop. THEY are EXACTLY what you need. If you don''t want to buy it, then download the trial versions of each...and when it runs out just renew the trial.
As for finding online textures, try www.google.com with the search "Free texture packs" or something to that effect. Thats how I found mine. Perhaps someone else could direct you towards a site that has free textures and stuff.
Cheers!

If you practice enough then you can make some pretty good stuff in Paint.
Or, if you don''t want to pay for the software Raymondo suggested, take a look at the GIMP. It is open source, and just as powerful as PSP and Photoshop.
(It was originally made for Linux, but there is a Windows port of it. Some people say that this version is unstable, but I have been using it for a few weeks now with no problems at all.)
