camera type for game

hello... i was wondering, what type of camera(translate or lookat) would be the best for a first person space shooter like starwars starfighter? and another question: how do you get the look at vector when using gluLookAt? -PmanC
I usually use glLookAt() and it works fine for me. They have good tutorials at www.gametutorials.com<- that should get you running with the vectors.
