Gmax meshes with Opengl
Hi all. I was just wondering if anybody could please tell me whether or not it is possible to load Gmax meshes in Opengl (using visual c++). If so, can you please direct me to a website or book which will give me a tutorial on how to do this?
GMax is for writing mods for games which have a special license from Discreet. That means you can''t create "stand alone" content with GMax. At least not legally. You can always save the file as a quake3 model or whatever your GMax is set up for and then load those, but then it''s got nothing to do with GMax, and just a matter of learning the md3 file format (or whatever).
