Quest for Neil domination continues...

You may or may not have noticed the name change of my journal. It's kind of lame I know, but there is a method to my badness. I declare that I Neil Kemp will be the supreme Neil Kemp in the google universe. I have neilkemp.us and I figure that if I just keep posting my name Neil Kemp everywhere then I'll eventually dominate that coolest of search engines. It's time for those other Neil Kemps get to the back of the line!

I also changed from being a tree avatar to a Gnostic holy symbol. It'll do for now.

[edit] Ok that didn't last very long... now I'm the forest troll!! [grin] [/edit]

Oh and I posted that neural networked mower thingymabobber...

I know you're bored so check it out!. [smile]

[edit] You will need the June DirectX runtime to play with it. You can download the DirectX 9.0c Redistributable here. [/edit]

It looks awesome! I'm having a problem with DirectX though. It says that it can't find "d3dx9_26.dll" and I remember reading about this somewhere in these forums. I can't find anything on the internet though. It was something about different versions of DX. I'll keep looking into it!

Got it, that's kind of annoying. I downloaded the redist from the main DX page and that didn't even include it- it wasn't the June update. They should put the June update as the main package.

Anyway, awesome program! Very polished and feature-full. I love the graph. The music is great too, very chill. Great job.

It would be cool, though, if the lawn mower moved as I rained on the grass. You might have to make the grass grow a little faster for that though.

Doh!! I know! This happens a lot of the time when people try running my apps. [headshake] Why don't they [MS] figure it out??

I had it like that at first but then it occured to me that you shouldn't ever cut wet grass. [smile] I do think I'll make the grass grow a little faster though. Thanks for the ideas!!

I liked your idea about interacting agents and thought up a battle arena type program that would allow you to train your agents using a script and let them fight it out. I just dont have the time to work on it at the moment. Would be cool.

So wont the real Neil Kemp please stand up, please stand up, please stand up

Ahem. Yes.

So Neil Kemp, what do you think of the hippie communist idea of everyone winning first place? I dont think it does a good job of preparing anyone for the real world. Anyway, its been sometime since I visted your journal, Neil Kemp. Keep up the good work Neil Kemp.

I wholly apologize and am truly sorry for all the kittens which died during the writing of this post.
