Other than that I have been creating two new classes for my library. They are used to compute and render PRT models. The simulator class uses the ID3DXPRTEngine to precompute the radiance transfer simulation data. Things are moving along quite steadily and I hope to have a working demo up sometime next week. You've got to love Microsoft for just giving away such an awesome toolset. The data produced by the PRT engine could be used with any API not just DirectX. It's something to think about anyway.
One more thing I almost forgot to mention. Since my static models are stored in ID3DXMeshes I went ahead and did some in place vertex cache optimizations in the loader function. This added a few fps to my glow demo. Yeah! [smile] - I like smiles. I think I'll make another now. [smile]
Oh and I just have to say that I am sooo jealous of Mr. Hattan's recent acquisition of Cinema 4D Studio. Makes me think I should be reviewing software too. [smile] I have been looking at Body Paint and 4D Studio for some time and they just seem to be getting better and better. Can't wait to hear what he has to say.
